The Spanish minor enables students to develop skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing, and also acquire knowledge of the literatures and cultures of Spain and Latin America. To achieve these goals, students study grammar, composition, speaking, Spanish and Spanish-American civilization and Spanish, Spanish-American and Hispanic literature with emphasis on culture.

Graduation Requirements:

  1. Minimum overall 2.000 GPA.
  2. Students must complete at least two upper-division courses in the minor at Kent State on a graded basis (A-F).
