109 Satterfield Hall The Russian minor offers a solid grounding in both spoken and written Russian and a broad-based understanding of Russian literature and culture. By cultivating linguistic proficiency and cultural literacy, as well as a greater appreciation for the diverse cultures within the Russian-speaking world, this minor prepares students to visit Russia and to interact in informal and professional settings with native speakers.
