The Applied Conflict Management minor gives students a solid background in the theory and skills of managing conflicts in constructive ways. Students learn applied, real-life skills that are not only useful in a variety of workplace settings, but in everyday life and relationships as well. Applied conflict management is an especially useful minor when paired with psychology, criminology and justice studies, communication studies, political science and business majors. However, because the skills taught are life skills, this minor matches up well with many majors.

1. Students may enroll for a maximum of 12 credit hours but no more than 3 credit hours may count toward the minor.

Graduation Requirements:

• Minimum overall 2.000 GPA.
• Students must complete at least two upper-division courses in the minor at Kent State on a graded basis (A-F).
