The Chinese minor provides a variety of courses to develop not only the traditional skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, but international cultural competence and critical thinking skills, as well. By imitating natural mother-tongue language learning processes and employing student-centered classroom techniques, this minor provides students practice in using Chinese in real-life contexts and equips students to speak about their own and other cultures.
