The Master of Arts and the Master of Education in Educational Psychology provide advanced study in the psychological aspects of human learning and development. Students acquire a broad, basic knowledge of educational psychology and develop competencies for addressing learning issues in educational settings. The program is appropriate for classroom teachers, professionals in a variety of settings and students wishing to pursue doctoral-level training in educational psychology. Admission Requirements
Official transcript(s), goal statement and two letters of recommendation. Admission into the Ph.D. Instructional Technology concentration also requires GRE (combined score of 300 or greater on Verbal and Quantitative, 4.0 Analytical Writing), resume or vita and interview. Graduation Requirements
The M.A. and M.Ed. degrees require a minimum of 32 semester hours of graduate coursework including at least 16 semester hours at the 60000 level or above. A major consisting of 18 or more semester hours in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services is required. Students have six years from the term of first enrollment to complete the program. |
