The Integrated Life Sciences program allows students to matriculate to The Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). NEOMED was established in 1973 by an act of the Ohio General Assembly. The college is a consortium of The University of Akron, Kent State University and Youngstown State University. The first class graduated in the spring of 1981. Admission Requirements
Eligibility for Admission: Graduation Requirements
Minimum 124 total credit hours, 48 upper division hours and a 2.000 cumulative GPA are required for graduation. Program Learning Outcomes
Graduates of this program will be able to: 1. Describe the major functions of the human body and the mechanisms of disease. 2. Recognize the humanistic aspects of medicine. 3. Demonstrate an appreciation of the experiences of their patients, and their own experiences, beyond medical practice. Accreditation
