The Web Design and Programming minor is interdisciplinary and focuses on the web and the Internet, two technologies driving many innovations and other aspects of contemporary life. The web today is ubiquitous, in news and information, in government, in education, in business and commerce, in health and in entertainment. Many people depend on the web so completely that they cannot tolerate loss of access for even a brief period.
