The Spanish minor enables students to reach a level of proficiency (ideally, advanced) in listening, speaking, reading and writing, and acquire knowledge of the literatures and cultures of Spain and Latin America. To achieve these goals, students study grammar, composition, speaking, Spanish and Spanish-American civilization and Spanish, Spanish-American and Hispanic literature with emphasis on culture.
