The Religion Studies minor is interdisciplinary and focuses on (1) the theories and methods of the academic study of religion, in relation to (2) religious thought and practice evident in the diversity of religions and religious phenomenon in the world. The curriculum prepares students for critical inquiry in religion with advanced course work drawn from a variety of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences and the arts.
