The Advanced Study in Digital Libraries certificate meets the growing demand for digital librarians and digital libraries. It is for those who have earned an MLS or MLIS degree. Curriculum focuses on the technical and human aspects of the Internet and digital libraries, including technical infrastructure of the digital library; theoretical and historical foundations; knowledge organization in digital libraries; collection development and maintenance; information access and utilization of digital libraries; and social, economic, policy and professional issues.
