241 Mathematics and Computer Science Building A foundation in computer science is invaluable to students in any field, from the natural and social sciences to humanities and business, allowing them to work with substantial computing and cyber systems. The Computer Science minor has been designed so that students from any discipline can complement their major, ensuring they will be able to competitively handle the computing and cyber aspects of their professions. The Computer Science minor requires three core courses in computer science and three electives, which can be aligned with the student's professional interests. * MATH 12002 is a prerequisite for some electives. Minimum cumulative 2.000 GPA required for graduation. Students must complete at least two upper-division courses in the minor at Kent State on a graded basis (A-F).
