The Educational Specialist in Counseling can be highly individualized to meet the needs of students having interests in a variety of school or community settings. The degree is an advanced-level practitioner's degree, and the focus is on practical knowledge and skill. Admission Requirements
Official transcript(s), goal statement, two letters of recommendation and interview. For more information about graduate admission, please visit the Graduate Studies website. Educational Specialist programs in the College of Education, Health and Human Services practice selective admission. Requirements include, among other things, evidence of high scholastic achievement, a high level of verbal ability and positive letters of recommendation All Ed.S. programs, with the exception of school psychology, require that applicants must have completed or be about to complete their master’s degree from an accredited institution.
Graduation Requirements
Minimum 30 credit hours are needed beyond a counseling Master's degree. |
