1. Minimum C (2.000) grade must be earned
2. A minimum C (2.000) grade must be earned in either CTTE 46018 or CTTE 46001 to fulfill writing-intensive requirement.
3. Students seeking initial teaching licensure have additional professional course requirements [ITEC 19525 Educational Technology (3 credits) and the following courses must be completed with a minimum C (2.000) grade; CTTE 46031 Student Teaching in CTTE (9 credits), CTTE 49525 Inquiry into Professional Practice (3 credits), CULT 29535 Education in a Democratic Society (3 credits)] and must be admitted into advanced study. 4. Students seeking initial licensure must complete course with minimum C (2.000) grade.

Licensure Requirement (not required for graduation):
Candidates seeking Ohio licensure are required to pass specific assessments in order to apply for licensure. See Ohio Department of Education-Educator Preparation website for more information on assessments specific to licensure type. Taking and passing the licensure tests prior to graduation is encouraged but not required.
