Pre-Dentistry, a pre-professional advising program, provides students with an opportunity for further dental school training after completing their undergraduate degree. Students take courses to prepare for the Dental Admissions Test (DAT) and coursework in dental school. In addition to declaring this program, students must be admitted to a bachelor's degree program in the College of Arts and Sciences. Students who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry, which have their own pre-dentistry concentration, should not declare this program. Admission Requirements
Admission requirements differ among dental schools. Graduation Requirements
Students should consult with a faculty pre-dentistry advisor each semester for assistance in choosing classes, the appropriate sequencing of classes, and to ensure entrance requirements for selected dental schools are being met. Study Abroad/Away Opportunities
