Certificate INACTIVATED effective spring 2012.

The Professional Flight Crew Development and Air Transport Operations certificate provides an in-depth background in multi-crew, high-altitude and high-speed air transport aircraft operations. The certificate's focus is in the developing the knowledge and skills to successfully transition from the light aircraft used in general aviation to high-performance turboprop air transport aircraft used in air carrier, business and commuter airline operations. The program is for students in a flight technology degree program, those returning to update their existing degree, and pilots seeking to upgrade their professional skills, knowledge and flight credentials.

Kent State University admission requirements apply, including assessment testing. Students may enroll in the program even if they have prior degrees. Students must declare themselves as a certificate candidate prior to completing half of the courses and must complete a minimum of 15 credits at Kent State University.
