International Higher Education-C607 and C812

In response to the globalized knowledge economy, one of the profound and transformational changes occuring in contemporary colleges and universities is internationalization. This institutional change requires administrative leaders, staff and faculty in higher education to have a comprehensive understanding of this phenomenon, along with well-articulated skills, knowledge and dispostions to improve the instructional capacity for internationalization. To meet this need, the Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel program offers a professional certificate program in  Internationalization of Higher Education to strengthen teaching, administrative leadership and employability in colleges and university settings. The 15-credit hour certificate, which includes an internship experience, can be completed as a stand-alone program or as a complement to another degree
