Deaf Education Multiple Disabilities (Post Secondary)

The Deaf Education Multiple Disabilities certificate combines coursework from several Intervention Specialist programs. To be qualified for admissions, students must be currently enrolled in the Deaf Education concentration within the Intervention Specialist major. This certificate is also available for student who have completed teaching licensure in deaf education (at either the post-bachelor's or post-master's level). Students will be eligible for certification from the Council for Education of the Deaf.

Kent State University admission requirements apply, including assessment testing. Students may enroll in the program even if they have prior degrees. Students must declare themselves as a certificate candidate prior to completing half of the courses and must complete a minimum of 15 credits at Kent State University.
