405 White Hall For students planning to pursue careers that involve working with people, this minor provides valuable knowledge about biopsychosocial development and family relationships and processes across the lifespan. Select courses are offered online at least one semester each academic year. This minor is particularly suitable for students majoring in fields such as communications, community health education, education, nursing, psychology, public health, recreation management, sociology, speech pathology and audiology. After declaring the HDFS minor, students are required to meet with the HDFS program coordinator to discuss course selection and procedures for completing the minor.
