Description
The Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology provides students with knowledge and skills in the areas of computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), computer numerical controlled machining (CNC), industrial controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Options are available in automated machining and industrial automation. This major is available at the Trumbull Campus. Career Opportunities

Graduates of this program will be able to: 1. Demonstrate entry level skills in manufacturing engineering technology. 2. Demonstrate comprehensive skills in CAD, CAM, CNC, and PLCs. 3. Demonstrate the technical skills necessary to succeed in a manufacturing environment as an engineering technician. 4. Demonstrate a work ethic that will help them enter the job market with a recognizably healthy attitude towards their employer, their position, and how they can contribute to the success of the company.
