The Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certificate provides master's degree prepared nurses the additional specialized knowledge and clinical experience that will prepare them for the adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner certification. After completing 525 clinical hours and the complete plan of study, graduates are eligible to apply for the national certification examination.
