The Liquid Crystal and Display Engineering minor gives students an introduction to the body of knowledge expected of an entry-level professional that works in the liquid crystal technology and display industry. The minor is particularly appropriate for students who are majoring in or have a strong interest in Physics or Chemistry.

*All LCDE courses require the following courses as a prerequisite: PHY 23101, PHY 23102, CHEM 10061, CHEM10063, MATH 12002 and MATH 12003. These courses are common to almost all Chemistry and Physics program.

**Only one of these four courses may be taken as part of the minor.

***The content of Cooperative Education or Internship coursed must be in an area of applied liquid crystal and/or display engineering.

 

Minimum cumulative 2.500 GPA required for this minor.
