DESCRIPTION: Pre-Medicine/Pre-Osteopathy, a pre-professional advising program, provides students with an opportunity for further medical training after completing their undergraduate degree. Students take courses that prepare them for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) and coursework in medical school. In addition to declaring this program, students must be admitted to a bachelor's degree program in the College of Arts and Sciences. Students who plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry, which have their own pre-medical/pre-osteopathy concentration, should not declare this program.

Admission requirements differ among medical and osteopathic medicine schools.
