Office Software Applications Certificate (Post Secondary)
Provides a solid background of coursework in Microsoft Office software applications that assist individuals in becoming productive office workers. Students may obtain the certificate to establish or to update skills using the latest version of software that is commonly used in offices today.
Students must satisfy the prerequisite, if any, of all courses in the program by either (a) completing the prerequisite courses, or (b) by demonstrating to an Information Technology for Administrative Professionals faculty member that they have otherwise met the prerequisites: Students must complete a minimum of 15 hours of the certificate at Kent State University. Up to 6 hours of transfer credits may be used as long as letter grades appear on original transcripts.
