Child and Family Advocacy Certificate (Post Secondary)
This certificate program provides students the opportunity to obtain a better understanding of the advocacy needs of children and families and to learn the necessary skills to be an effective advocate in a human service or legal setting. This certificate is grounded in the premise that a holistic approach to family advocacy is integral to serving client needs in a social service setting.
Students must satisfy the prerequisites of each course in the program. A minimum of 12 hours of the certificate's curriculum must be completed at Kent State University.
