Description
The Associate of Arts in Justice Studies prepares graduates for para-professional positions in the field of justice studies. It is also designed as a pre-bachelor's degree program since credits earned are applicable to a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Justice Studies. It can serve as a foundation for advanced justice studies in several areas, including retail security, industrial security, forensics, law and corrections. Graduates typically seek employment in probation offices, social service agencies, courts, local law enforcement offices and crime labs. Admission Requirements
All seven of Kent State’s regional campuses are accessible to students who hold a high school diploma or GED. Admission decisions are based on cumulative grade point average, ACT and/or SAT scores, strength of high school college preparatory curriculum and grade trends. Check with the Regional Campus Admissions Offices to determine application requirements, as they may differ among campuses.
