The jazz studies minor program provides instruction in performance, composition and arranging. Prospective jazz studies minors must audition in voice or on an instrument for acceptance into the program. Audition information can be obtained by visiting School of Music website.
Graduation Requirement: minimum 2.250 GPA in the minor is required.

- A half jazz recital or approved equivalent is required to complete the program. Registration in MUS 36011 Applied Music-Jazz is required during the jazz recital semester.
- Advanced pianists replace with MUS 48598 Music Research.
