- All LCDE courses require the following courses as a prerequisite: PHY 23101, PHY 23102, CHEM 10061, CHEM10063, MATH 12002 and MATH 12003. These courses are common to almost all Chemistry and Physics program.
- Only one of these four courses may be taken as part of the minor.
- The content of Cooperative Education or Internship coursed must be in an area of applied liquid crystal and/or display engineering.
