- US 10097 is not required of transfer students with 25 credits (excluding College Credit Plus and dual-enrollment) or students age 21+ at time of admission.
- A minimum C (2.000) grade must be earned to fulfill the writing-intensive requirement.
- These are requirements for admission to professional study and must be completed with a minimum 2.000 cumulative GPA.
- The following statistics courses are also approved, but currently are not offered 100 percent online: MATH 12022 Probability and Statistics for Life Sciences; and MATH 30011 Basic Probability and Statistics.
- Number of elective credits required depends on meeting minimum 120 credit hours and 39 upper-division hours.
Special notes for major:
As this is a completer program for students with an associate degree, it is expected that courses in physics, chemistry, basic microbiology, general psychology, anatomy and physiology and general education (e.g. composition, mathematics, humanities and fine arts) were successfully completed and transferred to Kent State (or earned as part of a Kent State associate degree). If any or all of the Additional Program Requirements were not completed prior to enrollment in this program, they will be required to graduate with Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care.
