- US 10097 is not required of transfer students with 25 credits (excluding College Credit Plus and dual-enrollment) or students age 21+ at time of admission.
- A minimum C (2.000) grade must be earned with to fulfill the writing-intensive requirement.
For admission to the professional phase:
Students must apply to and be admitted to the professional phase of the program, prior to taking HM 33050 Professional Practices in Hospitality Management in the junior year and HM 43092 Practicum in Hospitality Management. Students need to provide documentation of the following to the Vacca Office of Student Services:
- Minimum cumulative 2.000 GPA
- Minimum 2.250 GPA in major coursework
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- 400 hours of approved work hours within the hospitality industry
- ServSafe® Certificate
- Completion of the following course: HM 13022, 13023, 13024 and 23030
