The Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist certificate prepares nurses who already have a master's degree in nursing to be an advanced practice nurse in the sub-specialty of adult health. Graduates of the certificate will be eligible to sit for national certification in adult health or gerontology, teach adult health nursing or related courses or practice the specialty in various health care agencies.
