Preservation Architecture Certificate (Post Bachelor's)

The program leading to the graduate Certificate in Preservation Architecture (C.P.A. 16) is an opportunity for architecture students and graduates, as well as professionals interested in continuing education, to acquire specialized knowledge and skills in the area of Preservation Architecture. The curriculum focuses on specific foundation knowledge in preservation, with particular regard to methodology, assessment criteria, preservation techniques and legislation.

The program is normally offered entirely in Florence, Italy, through the college’s International Studies Program during one semester (fall or spring) or an intensive summer term. Being based in Florence and required to take various field trips, the students have an opportunity of being exposed to important examples of building and urban preservation in Italy and in other European countries.
