Writing-Intensive Course Requirement Download to print

Students in bachelor’s degree programs must complete at least one upper-division course designated as “writing-intensive” with a minimum C grade. While the intent is that the requirement be fulfilled within the major, students may use a writing-intensive course in another discipline to fulfill the requirement if permitted by the department/school of their major.
