Ohio veterans of the Armed Services who did not graduate from an accredited high school and who are 21 years of age or older will be considered by Kent State University if they have passed the General Educational Development (GED) test.

Certain training courses provided in the Armed Services may be acceptable for college credit. Certificates of completion for such courses should be submitted to the Admissions Office for consideration. Veterans may also seek assistance with pre-admission counseling through the Adult Student Center (181 Schwartz Center, 330-672-7933), or at http://www.kent.edu/veterans.
