Evening and Weekend Students

Students having professional or personal obligations which preclude attending Kent State during traditional weekday hours can attend classes during evenings, weekends or a combination of both. It is possible to work toward a degree by attending during the evening hours. Students should contact academic departments regarding the availability of specific evening degree programs.

Students intending to enroll in evening/weekend classes should complete the admissions application, submit an official high school transcript (if they are new freshmen or transfer students with fewer than 12 hours of transfer credit) and official transcripts from all postsecondary schools previously attended. A non-refundable application fee of $30 is also required.

Pre-admission advising is available through the Adult Student Center (181 Schwartz Center, 330-672-7933).
