Recreation, Park and Tourism Management (B.S.)

The Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Park and Tourism Management is designed to provide students with an academic foundation and field experiences for preparation in the recreation and leisure services profession.

Students can select from one of two concentrations: recreation and park management and tourism management.

Students must have a 2.00 GPA overall prior to being accepted into the major and a 2.50 overall GPA to declare the business minor.

The recreation and park management concentration focuses on recreation and leisure services in public, community and outdoor settings.

Tourism Management Concentration—2009-2010 Roadmap [Degree Requirements]

The tourism management concentration focuses on services in tourism industries and sustainable destination development.
